Acceptance

By using Synapse, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Synapse is intended for users who meet the minimum age required by the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

License

Synapse grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app on iOS for its intended purpose.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity performed through your account. Do not share credentials or use another person's account without permission.

Content

Daily facts, text, design, interface elements and other app content belong to Synapse or its licensors. The app is provided for personal educational and informational use only.

Facts may include references or source links. Synapse may update, correct or remove content at any time, especially after user reports.

Prohibited use

• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, abuse or attack the app, API or infrastructure.
• Do not create fake accounts, impersonate others or interfere with other users.
• Do not harass users or misuse friend, leaderboard or social features.
• Do not use Synapse for unlawful purposes or in ways that violate these Terms.

Suspension and termination

Synapse may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm the service, create legal risk or abuse other users.

Disclaimer

Synapse content is provided as is for educational and informational purposes. It is not professional, medical, legal, financial or scientific advice. You should not rely on Synapse as the only source for important decisions.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Synapse and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the app.

Payments

The current beta is free. If subscriptions or in-app purchases are introduced, purchase, renewal and refund rules will follow Apple's App Store terms and the Terms will be updated before launch.

Changes

Synapse may update these Terms with reasonable notice where changes are material. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated Terms.

Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections. The competent court will be determined under applicable Italian and EU consumer law until the controller's exact city is specified.
